Copyright Policy:
We will terminate the privileges of any user who uses this Site to unlawfully transmit copyrighted material without a license express consent, valid defense or fair use exemption to do so. In particular, users who submit Content to this Site, whether articles, images, stories, software or other copyrightable material must ensure that the Content they upload does not infringe the copyrights or other rights of third parties (such as privacy or public rights). Borzo India Private Limited cannot guarantee, represent or warrant that the content contained in the sites is accurate, legal and/or inoffensive. Borzo India Private Limited does not endorse the content of any third party site, nor do we warrant that they will not contain viruses or otherwise impact your computer. By using the Site to search for or link to another site, you agree and understand that you may not make any claim against Borzo India Private Limited for any damages or losses, whatsoever, resulting from your use of the Site to obtain search results or to link to another site. If you have a problem with a link from the Site, please notify us using the online help desk and we will investigate your claim and take any actions we deem appropriate in our sole discretion.
Prohibited Content:
The following is a partial list of the kind of Content which is illegal or prohibited on the Site. It includes Content that:

- Promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person’s copyrighted work, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
- Contains restricted or password only access pages, or hidden pages or images (those not linked to or from another accessible page);
- Displays pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind;
- Provides material that exploits people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under 18;
- Solicits passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users; and
Offline Conduct:
Although Borzo India Private Limited cannot monitor the conduct of its Users off the Site, it is also a violation of these rules to use any information obtained from this Site in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or in order to contact, advertise to, solicit or sell to any User without their prior explicit consent.
Access and Interference:
You agree that you will not use any robot, spider, other automatic device, or manual process to monitor or copy our web pages or the content contained thereon or for any other unauthorized purpose without our prior express written permission. You agree that you will not use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Borzo India Private Limited website. You agree that you will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure. You agree that you will not copy, reproduce, alter, modify, create derivative works, or publicly display any content (except for your own personal, non-commercial use) from our website without the prior express written permission of Borzo India Private Limited.
Unauthorized Use of the Site:
Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Site, including, but not limited to, unauthorized framing of or linking to the Site, or unauthorized use of any robot, spider or other automated device on the site, will be investigated and appropriate legal action will be taken, including without limitation civil, criminal and injunctive redress.
Violation of the Terms:
You understand and agree that in Borzo India Private Limited’s sole discretion, and without prior notice, Borzo India Private Limited may terminate your access to the Site, any other remedy available and remove any unauthorized User Content, if Borzo India Private Limited believes that the User Content you provided has violated or is inconsistent with these Terms of Use violated the rights of Borzo India Private Limited, another User or the law. You agree that monetary damages may not provide a sufficient remedy to Borzo India Private Limited for violations of these terms and conditions and you consent to injunctive or other equitable relief for such violations. Borzo India Private Limited may release user information about you if required by law or subpoena, or if the information is necessary or appropriate to release to address an unlawful or harmful activity. Borzo India Private Limited is not required to provide any refund to you if you are terminated as a User because you have violated these Terms of Use.
Limitation on Liability:
Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will Borzo India Private Limited be liable to you for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including also lost profits, even if Borzo India Private Limited has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Disputes:
This site is controlled and operated by Borzo India Private Limited from its offices in the India. If there is any dispute about or involving the Site, by using the Site, you agree that the dispute will be governed and construed by Indian law. In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions, or your use of or access to this site, litigation must be brought in court in India without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Indemnity:
You agree to indemnify and hold Borzo India Private Limited, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Site, including also your use of the Site to provide a link to another site or to upload content or other information to theSite.

When you install Borzo on your Android phone, you’re shown a list of permissions that the app requests. The descriptions of these permissions are created by Google and are worded the same for every app — currently, there’s no way for Borzo to customize them. So, to make sure you understand what features we access and what data we actually collect, we’ve provided a more detailed breakdown and discussion of the permissions. When you use Borzo on your iOS device as a rider, you’ll see contextual dialogs asking you to approve certain permissions that the app requests. Allowing these permissions will ensure you have the best possible experience with Borzo, but you’ll have the choice to opt out of each iOS permission on an individual basis. (If you’re an Android user, please see our Android App Permissions.)
To make sure you understand what features we access and what data we collect through these iOS permissions, we’ve provided a more detailed breakdown and discussion of the permissions below. You can edit your Borzo permissions anytime by going into the Settings app on your device.
Location Services
You’ll see this dialog during the registration process. If you opt in, the app will collect and send precise location data to Borzo’s servers. We use that data to personalize your experience; to display trip history in your receipts; to facilitate courier selection and pickup and delivery of goods; to determine what products, promotions, and surveys are relevant to you; to use for analytics purposes at an aggregated level; and to customize and improve the location-based services we provide. We may cache your last known location to speed up the launch process, but we will not store a history of your location to persistent memory on the device. If you opt out, you can still use Borzo, but you’ll have to manually enter your address for pick-up and delivery of goods, every time before you can see what options are available in your city.
Contacts
You’ll see this permission the first time you use a feature in the app that has the ability to utilize contact information, for example when you refer a friend to Borzo. If you opt in, the app will be able to access the contacts on your phone and we’ll create an address book in the app that you can use for a number of social features,like inviting friends to join Borzo. We’ll also use the information to make recommendations for you and other users and to customize your experience in using Borzo services. All the contact information will be stored on our servers and synced from your phone. Borzo will not share your contacts with anyone else or reach out to any of your contacts on your behalf without your permission. If you opt out of this permission, you’ll have to manually enter contact information anytime you, refer a friend, or use other social features in the app.
Push Notifications
You’ll see this dialogue once you’ve completed the registration process with Borzo but before you request your first Courier service.If you opt in, Apple Push Notification Service generates a unique token for your device and passes it to Borzo; this device token is then sent to Borzo’s servers and stored so that Push Notifications can be sent to you.
If you opt out of Push Notifications, you’ll receive updates about your trip by text message (these communications are not optional). Note that if you initially tapped Don’t Allow, the only way to opt into Push Notifications from Borzo is to update your preferences in your phone’s Settings app.
